Your First Women-Only Trip: What to Actually Expect
BaeCation Admin · Jul 21, 2026
Most travelers on our women-only departures join solo — and most tell us later that this was the scariest and best part.
Here's how the first day usually goes: you arrive, someone from the group has already started a snack-sharing economy on the bus, and by dinner you have inside jokes. Our trip captains are trained to make the first hours easy — icebreakers that don't feel like icebreakers, seat rotations, and a group chat that starts a week before departure so nobody walks in cold.
What to pack: less than you think, plus one outfit that makes you feel amazing for the group dinner. What not to worry about: eating alone (never happens), safety (female captains, vetted stays, 24/7 support line), or being 'too old' or 'too young' — our departures range from 19 to 60+.
If you're on the fence, come to one of our free meetups first. Meeting the community is usually all it takes.
